Business Analyst (BI)

TL;DR

Location: Hybrid; must be based in Hyvinkää or Espoo, Finland (remote 2-3 days/week)

What you will do

• Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications for development.
• Develop management reports and dashboards using Power BI and Databricks.
• Provide data-driven solutions to complex business challenges.
• Deliver accurate periodical reports to ensure business impact.
• Enhance and maintain BI standards and best practices within the team.
• Implement and communicate new dashboards and technical improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in Finland (Hyvinkää or Espoo) for hybrid work.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar Business Analyst or BI role.
• In-depth knowledge of Power BI (Power Query, Data Modeling) and experience with Siebel and SAP data.
• Proven proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages.
• Sound understanding of ETL processes, Azure cloud services, and data integration.
• English: C1 proficiency required for engaging with global stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with distributed computing and platforms like Databricks.
• Knowledge of current generative AI technologies and their application in BI.
• Project management experience with Agile methodologies.
