What you will do

• Architect, build, and maintain a delivery framework for websites, including custom hand-crafted frameworks.
• Develop new user-facing features and build reusable code and libraries.
• Integrate third-party APIs and customize WordPress to support specific functionality.
• Analyze and tune page load times to achieve maximum application performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers utilizing Agile methodologies.
• Maintain and support current client websites and provide technical documentation for plugins and themes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript, jQuery, and React (Gutenberg).
• Strong understanding of WordPress APIs, theme hierarchy, and custom Gutenberg block development.
• Proficient understanding of ES6+, CSS Grid, Flexbox, and accessibility in WordPress.
• Experience with npm task runners (Webpack) and code versioning tools like Git.
• Understanding of asynchronous request handling, REST APIs, AJAX, and GraphQL.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js.
• Experience migrating other websites into WordPress.
• Proficiency in Google Tag Manager.
