What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of MSD interventions across priority sectors.
• Oversee day-to-day programme delivery, ensuring alignment with work plans and technical standards.
• Integrate macroeconomic reform objectives with market-level interventions.
• Provide technical guidance to teams, partners, and consultants.
• Support the Team Leader in programme management, performance tracking, and reporting.
• Engage with government counterparts, private sector actors, and industry bodies.

Requirements

• Degree level education or equivalent professional experience.
• Significant technical experience in Market Systems Development (MSD), private sector development, or value chain programming.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering complex development interventions.
• Experience working on donor-funded programmes (FCDO preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across multiple workstreams.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing MSD programmes in multiple country contexts.
• Experience in Jordan or the MENA region.
• Experience in macroeconomic policy or economic reform.
• Experience introducing MSD approaches in new or emerging markets.
