Senior Android Engineer

TL;DR

Location: Tallinn, Estonia (On-site/Hybrid with at least 12 monthly in-office days).

What you will do

• Drive the development and continuous improvement of Android features for the Rider app.
• Own features end-to-end from technical design and implementation to release and monitoring.
• Improve code quality through refactoring, performance optimization, and reduction of technical debt.
• Make data-driven decisions to enhance customer experience and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deliver impactful initiatives.
• Contribute technical insights to shape product strategy and roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in the Android platform, SDK internals, and the broader ecosystem.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Solid understanding of modern architecture patterns like Clean Architecture, Dagger, and MVVM/MVI.
• Experience building production-ready apps with comprehensive unit and UI testing.
• Ability to own features independently and drive initiatives with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional environments.
