What you will do

• Design and deliver modular Kotlin code for native Android Automotive (AAOS) applications.
• Own the product lifecycle from initial goal-setting to final feature delivery.
• Write and maintain robust unit and UI tests to ensure reliability and prevent regressions.
• Align with backend and iOS teams to ensure consistent integrations and a unified user experience.
• Coordinate directly with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and remove bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience with Kotlin as the primary language.
• Minimum 1 year of development experience specifically for AAOS.
• Hands-on expertise with Jetpack Compose, MVVM Architecture, Hilt, and Kotlin Coroutines/Flows.
• Experience with app modularization and working with REST APIs and the BFF (Backend for Frontend) pattern.
• Proven ability to write comprehensive unit and UI tests.
• Location: Must be based in Stockholm, Sweden for a hybrid work arrangement

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Java backend solutions.
• Experience with Figma Dev Mode for design-to-code transitions.
• Proactive approach to using AI tools to boost productivity.
• Basic knowledge of Javascript or Typescript.
