TL;DR

Azure Platform Release Manager (Fintech): Managing enterprise-wide Azure platform adoption and release processes with an accent on technical analysis, standardization, and governance. Focus on bridging the gap between Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to ensure secure and efficient platform releases.

Location: Must be based in Toronto (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office).

Salary: 87,400 – 126,600 CAD

What you will do

  • Act as a technical specialist for the Azure platform, supporting release, migration, and modernization initiatives.
  • Independently investigate platform configurations, versions, dependencies, and standards.
  • Identify gaps and improvement opportunities to contribute to platform standardization and optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Architecture teams as the primary technical point of contact.
  • Explore new tools and approaches to improve platform visibility, reliability, and governance.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Toronto or able to work from the office 2 days per week.
  • Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure in roles such as Azure Developer, Administrator, or SRE.
  • Ability to work independently and drive ambiguous technical tasks to completion.
  • Confidence working directly with architects and engineers to clarify requirements and validate solutions.
  • English proficiency required for all professional communication.

Nice to have

  • Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-204, or AZ-400.
