TL;DR
Junior QA Engineer (Mobile/API Testing): Running regression tests and developing test cases, bug reports, and documentation for reliable user experiences with an accent on Android and iOS application testing, backend APIs, and database operations. Focus on testing client-server applications, intercepting traffic, collecting device logs, and validating behavior across operating systems.

Location: Hybrid in Egypt, Cairo

What you will do

  • Run regression test cases and report discovered bugs.
  • Review and correct test cases.
  • Write test cases, checklists, bug reports, and other test documentation.
  • Communicate with stakeholders within and outside the Quality Cluster team.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of software testing theory, test design, test cases, checklists, and bug reporting.
  • Understanding of client-server application principles.
  • Practical experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS.
  • Experience using emulators and simulators, intercepting traffic with Charles or Proxyman, testing across different operating systems, and collecting logs from real devices.
  • Experience testing backend systems, sending and reading API requests with Postman or similar tools, and working with databases using CRUD operations.
  • Basic knowledge of Bash or Zsh commands.
