What you will do
- Design and implement server-side game logic using ASP.NET Core (.NET 8) within a microservice architecture.
- Build real-time client-server communication utilizing SignalR.
- Develop shared codebase for both the server and Unity client to ensure consistent game rules.
- Model and optimize data access for PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS DynamoDB to handle large volumes and high throughput.
- Integrate services through a RabbitMQ message bus.
- Ship and operate services on AWS using Kubernetes (Helm) with Prometheus and OpenTelemetry observability.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
- Solid SQL and PostgreSQL skills, including query optimization for large datasets.
- Experience with distributed microservice systems and Redis caching.
- Strong grasp of algorithms and logical problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to have
- Background in game development, specifically F2P and live-ops.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, and SignalR.
- Experience with high-load systems and performance tuning.
- Previous experience working at a startup or product company.
