Quest Designer (Game Development) (Open-World Action RPG): Designing, developing, and maintaining original quests in a proprietary C-Engine with an accent on narrative, gameplay, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Focus on owning quests through iterative development, integrating director feedback, and bringing stories to life across level design, animation, audio, and quality assurance.
Location: Onsite or hybrid in Warsaw or Wrocław, Poland

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain engaging original quests on paper and in the proprietary C-Engine.
- Collaborate iteratively with the Narration team to develop ideas and provide feedback.
- Own quests within interdisciplinary strike teams involving Level Design, Level Art, Open World, Animation, Audio, and Quality Assurance.
- Coordinate with the Quest Producer and Quest Director to maintain creative vision and monitor progress.
- Work in an iterative pipeline, address director feedback, and follow innovative solutions in quests, narration, and gameplay.
- Report progress and track time in Jira.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the gaming industry.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Quest Designer or in a similar role.
- Experience creating game narration and using an editor for game development.
- Understanding of narrative and gameplay layers in open-world action RPGs.
- Proactive ownership, storytelling ability, curiosity, and strong knowledge of the video game industry.
- Fluent written and spoken English required.
