Mathematics Specialist (AI)

Location: Must be based in the United States

Compensation: $6–$65 per hour

What you will do

• Converse with AI models on classroom and theoretical mathematics problems.
• Verify the factual accuracy and logical soundness of model-generated responses.
• Capture and document reproducible error traces to identify model failure modes.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
• Demonstrate metacognitive communication by clearly showing your work and reasoning.

Requirements

• Fluent in German is required for this role.
• Expertise in algebra, calculus, number theory, linear algebra, and statistics.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Master’s or PhD in mathematics or a closely related quantitative field is preferred.
• Ability to provide a secure computer and high-speed internet connection.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in mathematical modeling or teaching.
