Senior Mobile Engineer (Kotlin Multiplatform)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Kotlin Multiplatform and Flutter.
• Build and refine payment SDKs and device abstraction layers for Android and iOS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and intuitive merchant experiences.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, logging, and observability practices to ensure system reliability.
• Participate in architectural decisions, framework selection, and tool evaluation.
• Mentor team members and foster a growth-oriented, collaborative engineering culture.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience developing and shipping Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) projects.
• Strong background in native Android (Kotlin) or iOS development.
• Proven experience building SDKs, libraries, or frameworks for other developers.
• Understanding of mobile app architecture patterns and clean architecture principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful services, secure communication protocols, and API integration.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Porto.

Nice to have

• Experience with payment processing systems, EMV standards, or financial technology.
• Knowledge of NFC technology, contactless payments, or mobile payment frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Canva.
