What you will do
- Design and deliver data analytics solutions to address critical business and game-related questions.
- Develop predictive models and leverage machine learning to uncover hidden opportunities within gameplay data.
- Create impactful reports and presentations to communicate insights to diverse stakeholders.
- Partner with data engineers and analysts to design robust data pipelines and data products.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of the analytics department.
- Collaborate globally to ensure Rockstar maintains a competitive advantage through data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a data science role.
- Proficiency in statistical theories including probability, distributions, and causal inference.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques such as clustering, gradient boosting, and neural networks.
- Excellent SQL skills and experience using Python for statistical analysis.
- Experience with large, complex datasets and BI platforms like Tableau.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical insights to business stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience writing production-stable code, preferably using Pyspark.
- Familiarity with Databricks and MLFlow.
- Graduate degree (MSc, MBA, or PhD) in a quantitative field.
- Prior experience in the game industry.
