Software Engineer (Kotlin/Golang)

What you will do

• Adapt and enhance Kotlin-based backend services for stable infrastructure deployments.
• Improve and extend Go-based applications for automated cluster management.
• Design and operate cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, Nomad, and Ansible.
• Ensure system scalability, stability, and zero-downtime deployments.
• Manage monitoring, service discovery, and network security using observability tools.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong programming experience in Kotlin and/or Golang with production-level code proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Ghent.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German or Dutch.
