What you will do

• Codify infrastructure using Python and APIs, and lead architectural design and implementation for cloud infrastructure, network, and applications.
• Define and maintain security standards, frameworks, and best practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to integrate security into the development lifecycle and infrastructure deployments.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies and tools to improve security posture.
• Develop security reference architectures and patterns to guide engineering teams.
• Participate in threat modeling and risk assessments, and provide security guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps / software with a strong focus on security architecture for infrastructure and applications.
• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and leading infrastructure lifecycles in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong coding skills: Terraform and Python are required, including taking infrastructure modules through to production.
• Advanced expertise in Terraform (required) and low-level networking (required).
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences across cultures and time zones.
• Ability to build secure and scalable systems with a proactive, strategic mindset.
