Lead Product Designer

TL;DR

Lead Product Designer (SaaS): Leading design strategy and execution for a large-scale audit and inspection platform with an accent on complex data-heavy workflows and system architecture. Focus on bridging business requirements with technical constraints, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality design delivery for global enterprise clients.

Location: Must be based in Ukraine. Requires at least 4 hours of overlap with US client morning time.

What you will do

• Lead client-facing design activities, including requirement clarification and solution alignment.
• Design user-centered solutions for complex audit and inspection workflows.
• Own the design process from discovery and concept to validation and development handoff.
• Collaborate closely with developers and Business System Analysts to ensure technical feasibility.
• Assign and review design tasks for team members to ensure high-quality output.
• Contribute to and maintain the design system to ensure cross-platform consistency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product or UX/UI design, preferably in enterprise or SaaS.
• Strong experience designing complex, data-heavy applications with workflow-driven logic.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of technical constraints, backend logic, and system rules.
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher required for client communication.
• Knowledge of accessibility principles and structured, self-organized work approach.

Nice to have

• Experience in audit, inspection, or compliance-related domains.
• Previous experience mentoring or leading designers.
• Background in enterprise web and mobile products.
