Applied Scientist (AI)

What you will do

• Research, design, and develop new AI technologies for personalization.
• Invent, adopt, and experiment with machine learning and analytical techniques for recommendation systems and large language models.
• Build and launch personalized content recommendations, features, products, and systems.
• Work with large datasets and computational resources to develop scalable machine learning solutions.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product partners locally and internationally.

Requirements

• PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, or an MSc with 5+ years of applied research experience.
• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithm design, and problem solving.
• Excellent coding and system design skills, with proficiency in Java or Python.
• Several publications in top-tier peer-reviewed research conferences or journals.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, or other big data technologies.
• Experience building and launching deep learning and machine learning models for business applications.
• Experience with information retrieval, recommender systems, natural language processing, or personalization algorithms.
• Publications in leading web, machine learning, or natural language processing conferences such as KDD, ICML, NeurIPS, ACL, or EMNLP.
