Medicine Specialist (AI)

What you will do

• Challenge advanced language models with clinical scenarios and theoretical medical questions.
• Evaluate model responses for factual accuracy, logical soundness, and clinical validity.
• Document reproducible failure modes and error traces to improve model reasoning.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
• Assess topics including differential diagnosis, drug interactions, treatment protocols, pathophysiology, clinical trials, public health interventions, and diagnostic imaging.

Requirements

• Expertise in medicine, including internal medicine, pharmacology, pathology, clinical diagnostics, medical ethics, physiology, epidemiology, immunology, or evidence-based medicine.
• Medical degree such as MD or DO, or a master’s/PhD in a health sciences field.
• Clinical experience, peer-reviewed publications, hospital-based practice, or public health project experience.
• Clear metacognitive communication and the ability to explain reasoning in detail.
• Must be based in Australia.
