Malay Voice Acting Specialist (AI Trainer)

Location: Malaysia; remote contract role

Pay: $8–$65 per hour, with the final rate based on experience, expertise, and geographic location

What you will do

• Record scripted Malay speech samples using a high-quality recording setup.
• Evaluate AI-generated speech for pronunciation, linguistic accuracy, naturalness, tone, pacing, and emotional expression.
• Annotate errors and provide expert feedback to improve voice models.
• Collaborate on prompts, evaluation methods, and voice design guidelines.
• Contribute to AI voice systems intended for education, entertainment, accessibility, and other applications.

Requirements

• Fluency in Malay is required.
• Professional experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, or related performance work.
• Clear communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• A reliable microphone, quiet recording environment, secure computer, and stable internet connection are required.
• Ability to work remotely from Malaysia as a contractor.

Nice to have

• Experience in training, coaching, or linguistic annotation.
