What you will do

• Support growth and maturity of the government affairs program focused on educating EU and UK policymakers and enabling market development.
• Identify needs and lead development of government affairs products for internal and external audiences.
• Advise hirify.global leadership on policy developments, challenges, and opportunities for both tactical and long-term planning.
• Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers across the EU member countries and the United Kingdom.
• Coordinate with consultants and industry associations to pursue effective policy outcomes.
• Manage engagement with third-party influencers (think tanks, civil society groups, philanthropies) and publish/speak publicly on behalf of hirify.global.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in advocacy or public policy/government affairs.
• Strong familiarity with emerging technology public policy trends in cybersecurity, cloud, cross-border data flow and digital trade, competition, AI, and public sector procurement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex regulatory and policy topics clearly.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with proven influence and presentation ability.
• Strong government contacts.
• Must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based; no visa sponsorship is offered.
