What you will do

• Develop high-quality benchmark materials using Substance Designer, Substance Painter, and ZBrush.
• Ensure material compatibility and interchangeability across project-specific shaders.
• Collaborate with Level Artists to create user-friendly materials for level construction.
• Verify material integration and functionality, including tinting and height blends.
• Maintain the integrity and uniformity of the project material library.
• Perform simple prop modeling tasks when material assignments are not available.

Requirements

• Intermediate English level or higher
• Deep proficiency in Substance Designer.
• Strong knowledge of PBR material standards and material blending systems.
• Experience creating textures for complex semi-procedural shaders.
• Understanding of material optimization for real-time engines.
• At least one shipped title within the CG industry.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Maya or similar DCC tools.
