What you will do
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional specifications.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for APIs and web interfaces using Java, Selenium, and RestAssured.
- Perform rigorous data validation and reconciliation between legacy systems (Mainframe/DB2) and modern cloud databases.
- Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with engineering squads to integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor team members on testing best practices, debugging, and domain expertise.
Requirements
- 3–3.5 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Strong proficiency in Java for test automation scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver or Playwright and API testing tools like RestAssured.
- Intermediate SQL skills for complex data validation and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with Mainframe environments (TSO/ISPF) and legacy data structures.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and version control systems like Git.
