What you will do

• Own the exchange infrastructure product: order management, matching, margin, risk engine, and lending/borrowing across spot and derivatives.
• Design systems that meet the highest regulatory bar by partnering with Legal, Compliance, and local market teams.
• Build data and monitoring for situational awareness across the stack and the broader industry.
• Set the 3–12 month roadmap based on product lifecycle, competitive landscape, and delivery capacity.
• Drive spec-to-launch execution by aligning engineering, design, ops, and marketing.
• Design and ship AI agent workflows (tool use, retrieval, evaluation, human-in-the-loop checkpoints) for Core Trading.

Requirements

• Location: Hong Kong SAR and must have a current right to work in Hong Kong without OKX visa sponsorship.
• 5+ years of experience building sophisticated backend systems in crypto or Traditional Finance.
• AI-native skillset to automate workflows and ship at high leverage.
• Strong logical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills to coordinate across departments.
• Fluent English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and cross-teams.
