Senior Data Analyst (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States. The role involves access to ITAR-controlled information and items; the hire must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export control license.

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year plus equity.

What you will do

• Develop automated reports, dashboards, and analyses covering KPIs, performance drivers, and operational trends.
• Build and manage pipelines integrating structured and unstructured data across enterprise systems.
• Design SQL- and Python-based workflows using Snowflake and related tools to standardize data and maintain integrity.
• Develop data retrieval processes and application integrations across multiple systems.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Finance, Propulsion, Materials, and other teams to analyze production and operational performance.
• Improve data quality control, report distribution, documentation, and recurring reporting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in data analysis or analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with Snowflake and a modern BI platform such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with relational databases and complex data visualizations.
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export control license.

Nice to have

• Experience with ETL processes and workflow automation.
• Background in manufacturing, finance, or operational data.
• Knowledge of financial reporting processes and physical manufacturing workflows.
• Experience mentoring or informally leading analysts.
