What you will do

• Support and review bookkeeping activities to ensure alignment with Serbian accounting standards and internal policies.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with external accounting providers.
• Manage bank reconciliations, VAT treatment, and support the preparation of corporate income tax returns.
• Prepare monthly cost files, weekly cost reports, forecast files, and intercompany invoices.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to verify payroll data and missing invoices.
• Establish and optimize internal accounting processes, including invoice processing and general ledger reconciliations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably within an international environment.
• Strong English skills (written and spoken) are required.
• Knowledge of Serbian accounting standards and VAT/corporate income tax regulations.
• Experience working with external accounting providers.
• Must be able to work onsite at the Novi Beograd office.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IFRS.
