TL;DR
Solutions Architect (Data & AI): Designing and implementing scalable data and AI solutions for customers in the DACH region with an accent on transitioning GenAI prototypes to production-ready systems. Focus on building ML pipelines, developing LLM-based applications including RAG, and optimizing model performance for scalability and cost.
Location: Hybrid in Vienna or Innsbruck, Austria. Valid working visa for Austria is required.

What you will do
- Lead end-to-end customer engagements in the DACH region from presales and solution design to hands-on delivery.
- Transform data science and GenAI prototypes into scalable, production-ready systems.
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and generative AI models and robust ML pipelines.
- Develop LLM-based applications utilizing RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.
- Optimize models for performance, scalability, latency, and cost.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers.
Requirements
- Experience as a Solutions Architect in data platform and AI/GenAI environments.
- Strong expertise in Azure, with working knowledge of AWS and/or GCP.
- Proven pre-sales experience including solution scoping, proposals, and estimations.
- Fluent German and English communication skills (mandatory).
- Valid working visa for Austria.
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to contribute beyond advisory roles.
Nice to have
- Experience with lakehouse architectures, data mesh, or real-time pipelines.
- Knowledge of MLOps, data governance, or GenAI production setups.
- Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Project or programme management experience.
