What you will do

• Respond to product sourcing requests by identifying optimal options across domestic and overseas suppliers.
• Evaluate product recommendations based on aesthetic fit, demographic relevance, and specific use-cases.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive supplier knowledge base to track brand trends and product availability.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on retail aesthetics and customer segment preferences.
• Proactively identify and solve recurring product gaps to improve future sourcing efficiency.
• Support outreach efforts to expand the company's network of manufacturers and suppliers.

Requirements

• At least 1.5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or buying.
• Deep understanding of American fashion and apparel trends.
• Ability to evaluate product fit based on customer demographics and aesthetic requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong research instincts and proficiency with CRM systems and spreadsheets.
• Must be available to work during US EST business hours.

Nice to have

• Background in fashion buying or retail merchandising.
• Familiarity with wholesale apparel suppliers and overseas platforms like Alibaba.
• Knowledge of promotional products such as drinkware, bags, and stationery.
