What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture and curate data in the data lake.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions.
• Develop and manage large, complex datasets aligned with functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Implement process improvements, including automation and optimization of data delivery.
• Perform deep data analysis to support the understanding of machine and process behavior.
• Work with Data Architects and Modeling teams across multiple sites to enhance system functionality.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in Data Engineering, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines and data lake architectures.
• Proficiency with big data tools such as Spark, Delta, CDC, NiFi, and Kafka.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL skills (Oracle, Hive, Spark SQL, etc.).
• Programming experience in Python, Scala, Java, or C++.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of message queuing and stream processing.
