Senior Motion Designer (AI)

Location: Remote; Los Angeles. Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

Salary: $70–$90 per hour, approximately 20–40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Rework brand motion into performance-native ad variants for Meta and TikTok.
• Build original paid motion using kinetic type, animated captions, logo, product, and UI animation.
• Design hooks that capture attention in the first second, especially without live footage.
• Produce high-volume iterations and adapt motion for 9:16, 1:1, and 4:5 placements across Stories, Reels, and Feed.
• Bring original creative concepts while maintaining brand coherence.
• Use performance signals to refine motion and scale winning concepts.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio of motion created for short-form Meta or TikTok ads, or comparable performance-focused work.
• Senior-level command of Adobe After Effects, plus Premiere for assembly and CapCut for fast cuts.
• Strong understanding of direct-response creative, including hooks, angles, pacing, and performance.
• Ability to produce many creative variants quickly without reducing quality.
• Proactive, self-directed working style with the ability to develop ideas independently.
• Eligibility to work in the US is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with a consumer subscription app, paid social growth agency, or DTC/ecommerce brand.
• Experience interpreting hook rate, hold rate, CTR, and other performance metrics.
• Working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.
• Experience incorporating AI tools into a motion workflow.
• Love of music and strong cultural awareness.
