What you will do

• Design and develop internal R&D tools and workflow-oriented applications.
• Build user-friendly web and desktop interfaces for managing complex technical data.
• Improve usability and process clarity in fragmented or manual engineering workflows.
• Implement frontend validation and guidance to ensure high data quality.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver incremental improvements.
• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML features into user workflows where appropriate.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
• 5-8 years of professional experience in building production-grade systems.
• Strong experience in web application development and user-facing software engineering.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, UI quality, and API integration.
• Proficiency in modern web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks).
• Professional proficiency in English and German.

• Experience in engineering, scientific, or manufacturing software.
