What you will do

  • Own the global compliance strategy, policy architecture, and governance structure.
  • Lead annual compliance risk assessments and maintain the enterprise risk register.
  • Manage regulatory horizon scanning, specifically focusing on the AI Act, DORA, and ESG obligations.
  • Lead and manage an international team of 12 compliance specialists across four different locations.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Operations to provide compliance sign-off on new products and M&A transactions.
  • Oversee the response to significant compliance incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of EU AI Act, DORA, GDPR, and regulatory frameworks for financial technology providers.
  • Experience defining and owning multi-year compliance strategies.
  • Proven track record of leading lean, high-caliber international compliance teams.
  • Ability to communicate complex risks and strategic considerations to C-suite leadership.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid model based in Copenhagen.
