What you will do

• Develop and deliver new features for one of Europe's most successful pet e-commerce Android applications.
• Participate in technical and architectural discussions to define business needs and technical requirements.
• Manage the full software development life cycle from discovery through coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Implement test automation, including unit, integration, e2e, and performance tests.
• Build and publish app versions using Jenkins Pipeline and the Google Play Store.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment using pair programming and code reviews.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow, and Jetpack Compose.
• Strong experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Modularization.
• Hands-on experience with dependency injection using Hilt or Dagger.
• Experience integrating REST APIs via Retrofit or Ktor.
• Must be based in or able to work from Madrid, Spain to support the hybrid office requirement.

Nice to have

• Experience with A/B testing and feature flags (Firebase Remote Config, Adobe Target, Optimisely).
• Knowledge of Localization and internationalization (Lokalise).
• Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or other cross-platform approaches.
• Understanding of mobile security best practices (Secure storage, encryption).
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
