What you will do

• Deliver next-generation Telematic Units to customers on time and within budget.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all software-related topics with the customer.
• Orchestrate and lead virtual, cross-functional global software project teams.
• Plan, monitor, and control the software project to ensure product and process quality.
• Represent project status and progress to senior management internally and externally.
• Define software project management processes and development lifecycles based on company standards.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering (Electrical, IT, CS) or Business Administration.
• Fluent Japanese (Level 2) and Business English proficiency.
• Expertise in project management and coordination within globally distributed environments (Waterfall, Agile).
• Experience in team management with 10+ people directly or indirectly.
• Knowledge of process models such as Automotive SPICE® and CMMI.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (domestic and international).

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Previous experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience with projects implemented under Automotive ASPICE Level 3.
• Background in real-time embedded software and system development.
• Experience managing teams of 25+ people.
• Fluent Japanese (N1 level).
