What you will do

• Design and implement complex, scalable system architectures and drive technical excellence.
• Lead code reviews and establish engineering best practices across the team.
• Optimize PostgreSQL database performance and design robust data solutions.
• Architect and maintain high-volume messaging systems using Kafka.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues to ensure system reliability.
• Mentor team members and facilitate technical discussions across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Extensive production experience with Java and deep understanding of JVM internals.
• Proven ability to document and implement complex system architectures.
• Advanced knowledge of relational database principles and PostgreSQL performance tuning.
• Solid experience with the Kafka ecosystem and messaging concepts.
• Strong understanding of concurrency principles and security best practices.
• English: Upper-intermediate (B2) proficiency required.
• Location: Must be based in Ukraine.
