What you will do

• Define, track, and enforce SLOs, SLIs, and Error Budgets across development teams.
• Partner with software architects to ensure new features comply with reliability, scalability, and security standards.
• Establish quality gates within CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability criteria are met before production deployment.
• Oversee the post-mortem process to prioritize bug fixes and architectural improvements.
• Design chaos engineering scenarios and game days to validate and improve system resilience.
• Analyze development workflows to identify inefficiencies and guide teams on operational automation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, SRE, or Technical Product Management.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture, microservices, and cloud-native patterns (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Expertise in establishing SLOs/SLIs and error budget policies.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to influence engineering practices.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing ITIL, Agile, or DevOps practices at scale.
• Certification in Cloud Architecture or Agile Project Management.
• Previous experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.
