What you will do

• Conduct manual investigation, troubleshooting, and reproduction of functional issues within backend systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions to streamline manual processes across distributed environments.
• Evaluate existing automation frameworks, identify coverage gaps, and implement new automated test cases.
• Perform exploratory testing of new features, analyzing requirements, expected behaviors, and potential risks.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including plans, execution results, and defect reports.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA Engineering with a strong focus on backend systems.
• Proficiency in scripting and test automation using Python and Bash (at least 3 years experience).
• Strong hands-on experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Solid experience testing APIs, databases, microservices, and distributed systems.
• English: Excellent communication skills to articulate findings and risks to stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, or cloud-based environments.
• Experience working with large-scale, high-availability, or performance-sensitive distributed systems.
