What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, fostering technical excellence and career growth.
• Partner with Product and Commercial teams to plan and prioritize backend and integration initiatives.
• Drive architectural decisions for scalable, resilient backend systems and enterprise integrations.
• Represent the team in cross-department initiatives and manage stakeholder communication.
• Optimize resource allocation and oversee project timelines to ensure timely delivery.
• Promote high-quality engineering standards through code reviews and observability practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineering Manager or in a technical leadership role.
• Strong technical background in Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Advanced/Fluent proficiency in English and Portuguese.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP integrations (SAP, TOTVS, Oracle).
• Background in event streaming and data pipelines (Kafka, Airflow, Temporal).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes.
• Previous experience in startups or high-growth environments.
• Advanced/Fluent proficiency in Spanish.
