What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable Android features in a high-impact environment.
- Drive features end-to-end with full ownership from technical design to deployment.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, iOS, and Backend teams to ship world-class features.
- Own app performance and stability, proactively resolving issues and optimizing user experience.
- Innovate on the Android tech stack and explore AI opportunities to enhance user engagement.
- Foster engineering culture by sharing best practices and pushing the team toward excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Android development experience with mastery of modern architectures.
- Proven track record building high-traffic B2C applications.
- Strong product mindset with a passion for polished interfaces and smooth animations.
- Data-driven approach to decision-making based on metrics and analytics.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Pragmatic and results-oriented mindset focused on maximizing business impact.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating AI/ML features into mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines/Flow, and Architecture Components.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization.
- Contributions to open-source projects or tech leadership in Android communities.
- Interest in social app trends and user behavior.
