What you will do

  • Build and foster a healthy, high-trust culture within a globally distributed, remote-first team.
  • Manage performance, career development, and onboarding for direct reports through regular 1:1s.
  • Own the team's roadmap, project management, and stakeholder alignment to ensure clear milestones.
  • Lead hiring efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and headcount planning.
  • Train as an Incident Commander to drive coordination, resolution, and blameless post-incident reviews.
  • Manage workflow intake and triage to prioritize team efforts and maintain service SLOs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of engineering background with experience building complex systems.
  • 3+ years of experience managing remote engineering teams across disparate time zones.
  • Proven track record in a cloud, SaaS, or developer tools company.
  • Strong passion for people management, coaching, and building psychological safety.
  • Ability to operate as a multiplier, focusing on team growth rather than being the primary technical voice.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a default-async and proactive approach.
