TL;DR
Android Developer (Kotlin Multiplatform): Building and scaling shared mobile experiences for automotive diagnostic and customization applications with an accent on Kotlin Multiplatform, mobile architecture, and AI-augmented development. Focus on designing maintainable cross-platform features, solving ambiguous product problems, and coordinating end-to-end delivery across mobile, backend, hardware, and R&D teams.

Location: Hybrid in Vilnius or Kaunas, Lithuania; 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

Salary: €4,200–€8,000 gross per month, depending on experience

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain mobile features using Kotlin Multiplatform shared across Android and iOS applications.
  • Design scalable, maintainable solutions for automotive products and customer-facing mobile experiences.
  • Own technical solutions end to end, from scoping and planning through implementation and delivery.
  • Contribute to architecture, code quality, performance, user experience, and technical debt management.
  • Collaborate with mobile, backend, hardware/embedded, and other R&D engineers.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and experimentation.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Android development, Kotlin, and Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, cross-platform development, and shared codebase design.
  • Experience designing scalable, maintainable, and well-structured software.
  • Basic understanding of backend services, APIs, and integration patterns.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools in daily engineering work.
  • Fluency in Lithuanian and full professional proficiency in English; hybrid attendance in Vilnius or Kaunas is required.

  • Practical exposure to iOS development, Swift, or collaboration across Android and iOS codebases.
