What you will do

• Write and edit content for websites, press releases, and marketing materials to reach the general public.
• Conduct client interviews and collect success stories with multimedia coverage at project events.
• Develop and distribute project update briefs, situation reports, and quarterly newsletters.
• Manage social media channels and produce engaging content for various platforms.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with journalists and media outlets.
• Coordinate with vendors for the production and dissemination of visibility materials.

Requirements

• Degree in Communications, Marketing, PR, Mass Communications, International Relations, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, media, journalism, or advocacy.
• Must be based in Kampala, Uganda.
• Proficiency in writing, editing, and social media management.
• Basic skills in photography and videography.
• Technical affinity for multimedia, web, and digital tools.
