Compliance Officer - Roving (Legal)

Location: Must be based in Kenya and be able to work roving between field offices in Hagadera and Kakuma (with potential support for Lamu and Garissa).

Salary: Ksh 173,250 monthly

What you will do

• Screen and assess incoming complaints to determine appropriate courses of action.
• Conduct interviews with complainants, subjects, and witnesses and analyze evidence to support findings.
• Draft comprehensive investigation reports and present findings and recommendations.
• Perform system reviews to identify compliance gaps and monitor risk mitigation measures.
• Review partner agreements and contracts to ensure alignment with IRC policies and procedures.
• Design and facilitate training sessions to promote a culture of integrity, ethics, and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Sociology, Law, Finance, or a comparable field.
• 5 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Kiswahili, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to analyze data and report critical information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and self-motivation.
