What you will do

• Design and develop various cryogenic valves, including shut-off, control, and check valves.
• Perform critical engineering calculations for thermo-mechanics, stress-strain, and sealing analysis.
• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD/CAE tools.
• Analyze and select appropriate materials for cryogenic and high-temperature applications.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and production and testing teams.
• Lead test campaigns, analyze results, and implement design improvements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, or a Bachelor's with substantial relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in hardware development from initial concept to working prototypes.
• Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and mechanical design.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software and technical drafting.
• Ability to write software/scripts using Python.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of liquid-propellant rocket engines as a complete system.
• Proficiency in conducting advanced thermomechanical analysis.
