Company

The Exploration Company is developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle designed for cargo and human transport.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end development of a vacuum hot fire test facility for orbital thrusters.
• Define system-level requirements, performance envelopes, and safety objectives for propulsion test benches.
• Manage the multidisciplinary team responsible for design, procurement, assembly, and commissioning.
• Oversee hazard analyses (FMEA, HAZOP) and implement critical safety procedures.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, suppliers, and external partners.
• Manage test operations, including hot fire, cold flows, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Degree in aerospace, mechanical, chemical engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with propulsion test benches, specifically with storable/legacy propellants.
• Strong background in fluid systems, pressurized systems, and ground support equipment.
• Proven experience delivering complex engineering facilities from concept to commissioning.
• Knowledge of safety-critical systems, industrial automation, and test operations.
• Experience with vacuum test facility design and operation.
