What you will do

• Manage and mentor a diverse team of engineers, setting objectives and supporting professional development.
• Oversee the development of complex turbomachinery systems for high-thrust liquid rocket engines.
• Lead technical decisions regarding turbopump design and supporting infrastructure like test stands.
• Collaborate with the Business Team to prepare technical proposals.
• Oversee validation tests to ensure performance and reliability of components.
• Identify and manage external suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Master's Degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience in space projects.
• Proven experience leading projects from design through qualification.
• Strong understanding of liquid-propellant rocket engines, thermodynamics, and mechanical design.
• Fluent in English (German is an asset).
