Lunar Lander Test Bench Development Engineer (Aerospace): Leading the design and deployment of a remote test facility in the UAE for hot-fire propulsion testing with an accent on cryogenic fluid systems and civil infrastructure. Location: Must be based in Bordeaux, France initially, with periodic travel to the UAE, and the option for full-time relocation to the UAE.

What you will do
- Lead design and implementation of the UAE test facility, including ground infrastructure and utilities.
- Develop P&IDs and design cryogenic and high-pressure fluid systems involving LOX, LCH4, Helium, and Nitrogen.
- Coordinate facility layout, foundations, and structural interfaces with civil engineering partners.
- Implement automation architectures and safety-critical control systems for test operations.
- Perform hazard analyses (FMEA, HAZOP) and develop operational commissioning plans.
- Manage procurement, manufacturing, and installation of test stands and support buildings.
Requirements
- Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, energy systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in propulsion test facilities or hot-fire test bench development.
- Strong expertise in fluid systems engineering and cryogenic propellants.
- Experience with ground support equipment for rocket propulsion systems.
- Knowledge of automation and safety-critical control architectures for industrial environments.
- Willingness to travel to and work periodically in the United Arab Emirates.
