TL;DR
CTO / Lead Developer (C#/.NET): Leading the development and maintenance of a high-volume remote gaming server platform with an accent on scalability, security, and reliability. What you will do
- Lead the technical direction and architecture of the core remote gaming server platform.
- Write and review high-quality C# code for high-volume transactional systems.
- Optimize SQL databases to ensure strong data integrity, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Sysadmin, and Support to ensure operational stability and clarity.
- Mentor developers and promote strong engineering practices, including unit testing and code reviews.
- Report technical progress, risks, and priorities to senior management.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience with C# and .NET.
- Strong track record of building scalable, production-grade backend systems.
- Expert-level SQL skills, including performance optimization and data modelling.
- Understanding of caching principles using Redis or similar tools.
- Experience with transaction-based systems in industries like online gaming, fintech, or payments.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience within the online gaming or gambling industry.
- Knowledge of operating in highly regulated environments.
- Experience with API gateways, back-office systems, or large-scale analytics for reporting.
- Previous experience leading engineering teams or acting as a technical owner for a major platform.
