What you will do

• Define and own the technical strategy and architecture of the platform.
• Build and scale full-stack systems, including backend services, frontend interfaces, and APIs.
• Lead AI-powered product development for valuation models, workflow automation, and predictive diagnostics.
• Recruit, manage, and mentor a growing engineering and product team.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of all technical systems.
• Contribute to strategic leadership, fundraising efforts, and partnerships.

Requirements

• 7+ years of full-stack engineering and product development experience.
• Strong proficiency in backend (Python/Node, PostgreSQL, cloud) and frontend (React, mobile/web).
• Proven track record of shipping and scaling platforms in marketplaces, e-commerce, or logistics.
• Familiarity with AI/ML, specifically LLMs, computer vision, and pricing engines.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage budgets and think strategically.
• Must be based in Nairobi or available for regional engagement.
