ML/AI Technical Compositor (VFX)

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Montreal, Quebec (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Execute high-quality shot compositing using both traditional Nuke techniques and AI-enhanced methods.
• Define, develop, and implement ML/AI workflows based on ComfyUI.
• Ensure robust integration of AI tools into the existing VFX pipeline, including asset management and render queues.
• Provide expert-level technical support for the ML/AI toolset and compositing pipeline.
• Stay updated on advancements in machine learning, generative AI, and computer vision for production application.
• Collaborate with Leads and Supervisors to balance creative vision with technical execution.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a compositor in the VFX industry.
• Expert knowledge of Nuke, ComfyUI, and Python.
• Proven experience with AI workflows and VFX pipelines.
• Strong understanding of photographic principles and CG integration.
• Ability to demonstrate experience on high-end film post-production projects.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
