What you will do

• Identify complex fraud patterns and technical root causes through detailed data mining.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models to augment supervised detection systems.
• Utilize link analysis and graph analytics to mitigate deeply-connected fraud networks.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement features and enhance system capabilities.
• Communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Serve as a technical SME for data mining techniques and maintain reference documentation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
• 4+ years of fraud analytics experience in financial services or FinTech.
• Proven experience in the crypto or blockchain industry.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms including GBM, XGBoost, and LGBM.
• Advanced programming skills in SQL, R, and Python.
• Successful track record of owning and driving complex data analysis projects.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with modeling in machine learning (Random Forest, etc.).
