What you will do

• Monitor and analyze internal displacement trends related to conflict and disasters in East & Southeast Asia.
• Manage and upload displacement data into the IDMC database ensuring high standards of accuracy.
• Contribute to the technical development and improvement of IDMC monitoring tools.
• Maintain and expand a network of institutional partners within the sub-region.
• Support capacity-building efforts for partners regarding displacement monitoring.
• Provide contextual analysis and act as a focal point for sub-regional information.

Requirements

• Must be a Thai national or possess the legal right to work in Thailand (no visa sponsorship available).
• Master’s degree in international affairs, social sciences, statistics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in research, data collection, and quantitative data analysis.
• Demonstrated experience working with databases and information management systems.
• Solid understanding of the East & Southeast Asia sub-region and displacement contexts.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python, R, or other statistical software.
• Fluency in Hindi, Urdu, or other relevant regional languages.
